I contacted a company that isn't too far from me and this is the email I got back from them. I was inquiring about some good quality epoxy for my new garage floor. Is anyone familiar with this product?

"We have several options to offer in a high quality sealer. The newest of which is Polycoat made by Clemons Concrete Coatings. Polycoat is a Polyeurea which combines the benefits of epoxy and urethane sealers to give you a non-yellowing durable sealer that is resistant to temperature up to 350 degrees. It also sticks directly to concrete unlike urethanes that require an epoxy primer."

Might do a search for Polyeurea. This topic has been discussed. Not sure about this specific company or brand. But you might find some helpful info on this type of coating.

I found the thread, thanks for mentioning it. After reading over it, I think I would be better off to stick with some form of epoxy...or just forget it all together. I have a new slab down, but I am a little scared to try shotblasting it or grinding it myself after reading on here. It probably has the feel of 400 grit sandpaper right now, and from what I read it needs to be more like 80 grit.

I've been talking to him about it and he is getting me some prices now. Epoxy from Wolverine is just about out of my price range for the 1500 sq ft I have to cover.

I hear ya. My floor is 1200 and I screwed up and had to do some "repair" work to the floor. But done now. Good luck.

Your garage is similar in size to mine. Mine is 30 x 52. Can't wait to see the pics of how your floor turned out.
