A kid from the 50's

My preference is not to see rakes, brooms and extension cords hanging from the walls of my garage, or paint cans and lawn maintenance equipment that can be seen from the street. I only have that preference for myself.
so, I erected two “temporary” 4’ x 8’walls. I made these out of 2” x 2” frames with drywall on one side and peg boards on the back. They are just screwed to the ceiling and into plastic anchors in the floor. They could be removed in just minutes and the garage would be back to normal if there were ever to be a new owner of the property.
I used Race Deck for the bike parking area and I am very happy with it.
The middle section has inexpensive indoor/outdoor carpet.
The raised step at the rear of the garage has ceramic tile.
The Gladiator cabinets are well constructed and are on sale from time to time at Sears. I turned the bottom cabinets up side down so that the handles would be at the top. The shelves are reversable.
I like lots of counter space so I have three work benches. The counter top on the back wall was cut down so if the garage was ever used for two cars again the depth of the counter top would not interfere with the front on the car.
