Just had my new air compressor dropped off

I actually got a good price plus a $300 credit to use on the truck. When compared to Made in China Husky compressor that retail for about $1300 I think I got a steal.

BRA7180 $2600 brand new and built after I ordered it minus the $300 credit for a total of $2300.

Wouldn't it have been cheaper just to buy a Big Red Brahma and save about $600 for the same compressor

My four year old 7.5 hp/80 gal/two stage Husky(campbell-Hausfeld) has a USA made pump and tank and a Mexico made motor.

Later versions of the same compressor have an identical looking pump but without the USA on it, and the tale-tale round serial number sticker that I have seen on other Chinese pumps.

For the money, I'd have looked real hard at a Jenny(formerly Emglo stationary units) with an American made Jenny pump (they made them for Emglo for years before they bought the company) or a Champion. I think a Saylor-Beale or a Curtis would have been too pricey, but not sure.

i dont think they make one for home use. checked their web site and all i see is huge ones.
