I got a lead on a Ford 1/2 ton truck, can someone tell me when it was made?

Take a picture of the vise to post on here and look on the bottom side of the lead screw for a date stamp.

Sorry about that guys:lol_hitti. I guess the pic would help out in ID'n it a bit more. Thought the model # could give you a general era of when it was manufactured. I'm just trying to avoid it being a newer Chinese made POS.

The secong pic shows some recent paint the owner threw on it. I'd prefer the original patina since it would go with my welding table.

If it is USA it will be marked as such in big casting letters I think. have one here just like it and USA is cast in big letters on the side. Decent vise, not heavy duty but not junk.

Thanks!! I am no vise expert by any means (obviously:thumbup:), but I've never had total trust in the strength of a swivel style vise. I'm sure others can easily prove me wrong, but from the ones I've encountered the bigger non-swivel types always seem to more stout than the counterpart. :dunno:
