Would anybody be interested in posting their tool photos to a consolidated location? I know that I like the eye candy that I've seen here thus far, and can only imagine what I missed in the time prior to my joining.

I was thinking along the lines of a Flickr group?

Tool Junkies Group

The way Flickr works, you sign up for a free account, or just click a few buttons if you already have a yahoo account, upload your photos via the web-based or program-based methods, and then send the photos you want to share to the group.

I think that the way things could work, everyone could continue posting their photos to the forum, and then upload their photos to the Flickr group as well, to create a sort of all-encompassing archive.

If you guys like the idea, we could come up with some basic rules and sticky the thread w/ the group link.

Oh yea, registration is open to the public, so non-registered forum lurkers could join up as well.

I also think it could be a good idea since I like viewing large photos, but hate when people post them to posts since it breaks the forum coding a bit and makes things tough to read.

Moose, all the large impact sockets Snap-On? Damn, those are expensive!!! I paid I think around $35-$45 for a Snapon 36MM deep impact axle nut socket for my air cooled VW Beetles back in the day! By the way your "day glo orange" collection is getting pretty sweet!!!!

Nope, none of the impacts are Snap-on. They're all Draper. (Craftsman Pro equivalent)

They're pretty good quality, quite robust and for the price their value for money is real good. For impacts i'm not so worried about Snap-on at the moment, these do the job for me. The Snap-on impacts i want to get at the moment are the thin wall ones (17mm, 19mm, 21mm, 22mm) and the extra-deep 3/4" magazine loading socket.

Otherwise these work for me!

When the other ratchets and stuff arrive i'll snap some pics.

The large Snap On impacts are very expensive indeed. I only buy those as needed. You cannot spend all your money on tools, there are other things to pay for in life.
