Damn Sears...it shows up on the product page for $170 but isn't showing up in my cart for anywhere close to that price.

Says $170.99 on the item page, $179.99 in cart. Man i hate their site.

What's the best coupon code running at the moment? Anything better than the $5 off SEARS2012 code?

There is something wrong with the website, I had to call in my order.

You can use code: MAYSAVINGS for $15 off Tool Purchases over $100

FYI: just picked up my set, the sockets are not dual marked. Just the older style roll mark. (Not really a big deal to me but, I had thought all newer sockets were dual marked :dunno:)

Should be $155.99 + tax.

$170.99 - $15 (MAYSAVINGS) + tax.

Might want to call them.

Thanks (I almost didn't see the $11 overage), I emailed them.......calling them just makes my blood pressure go up. Much easier to file a BBB complaint if they don't get it right over email, they usually have MUCH better customer service when it goes to corporate for closing BBB complaints. It's sad that this is the way it is with Sears now, I grew up with Craftsman tools.

Good luck, I just got off a chat session with them and no luck, I mean it is just basic math.

The online help is a complete waste of time. Just give them a call.

The price (with coupon code) came to $166.99, with all of the website issues the CS rep had to manually enter the $11 refund to get me the $155.99 price.

$170 on the website, but $179 in the cart. Anyone find a work-around?

When your in the cart and check out there will be a block for a discount code.

Type in....MAYSAVINGS....

It will then recalculate to the 166.49.

I just tried it and it worked
Good luck

I picked this set up a few weeks ago. LOTS of sockets! (201 to be exact...)

I did a quick review of it here.

I just ordered mine yesterday at $166.49 + tax. I think I will be giving them a call to get the $11.00 refund. Thanks for the heads up!

Yeah, but it's supposed to be $170 which would make it VERY tempting after the MAYSAVINGS discount. I might call tomorrow and see what I can find out.

Looks like they updated their website to show $179.99 as the price after savings. I still picked it up using the "Maysavings" code and using my "Save your way" points.

Still a good deal at $199 I suppose. Buying all the sockets alone would add up to that much. Just have to wait for payday.

Who knows?
Just got the set for my Brother-in-Law.
I'm actually taking it back tomorrow.
You basically get two of the exact same socket, for all the sockets.
How often am I going to use a 6pt 1/4 drive 1/4 deepwell and decide nope this is not going to work, I need to switch to a 12pt 1/4 drive 1/4 deepwell, that'll do the trick!

With the exception of the deepwells, the rest I can easily get from pawn shops (Still made by Craftsman) for much cheaper. Grab a couple of ratchets, some pliers, screwdrivers and other things and still come out under $200 dollars.
