A 3 TON Press for Woodwork!!!!

I never would have imagined using a 3 ton arbor press for this type of woodworking but, hey, it worked great.

I assume you glued it together and your using the weight of the handle to keep pressure on it?

Yes sir, turned out to be the easiest way way to get even pressure on it while the glue dried.

Pretty much the weight of the arbor was prefect.

Yeah, talk about overbuilt when just the weight of the handle alone is enough to perform the job.
I like it!

Using it for destructive testing would be cooler though.
