I have a set of the premium ratchets. They are sweet.

I got them on sale a while back...better than the prices on your pics.

IMO they are on par with the snappy and armstrong ratchets I have.

You could always try to trade something you have for one of those ratchets, or a set. I bought a lightly used 3/8 and 1/2 from another member here recently. I like them a whole lot.

Does anyone actually know how well those ratchets are selling?

If you look closely you'll see those Vise-Grips aren't made in the USA, they're "made in the USA with global components."

I had the 1/4, 3/8, and 1/2 premiums in my cart for $105 shipped from sears.com...when I went to click buy they were out of stock. You can't order something and have it back-ordered either. After that I lost interest.

I agree. I've got the C'man Premiums in 3/8" and 1/2" and really like them. I really like the size and shape of the handles. They have good length to them, and I find I reach for them most often these days. The contour of the grip is very comfortable, and the mechanism is very smooth; what's not to like!

My SO dual 88s may be just a bit smoother, but not by much. So far, I have not had any issues. They are a good value, especially if you can buy them right...

Wait a little longer on those premium ratchets then buy them when Sears clearances them off and they'll go into the history books with the other good ratchets Sears has discontinued in the past.

Sad, but probably true.

I have the 1/4 and 3/8 Premium. Agree they are nice. Would have bought the 1/2 if I used the size more often. I already have 4 other 1/2 ratchets and rarely need em. When I get to 1/2 drive I use air unless the tool wont fit.

I tried the Premium ratchets today. It is NOT as good as Snap-on Dual 80s. It clicks ridiculously loud and clunky for an 84-tooth ratchet.

I've been considering it, but I'm about to plunk down a pile of cash for a full set of SK wrenches.

Comparing my premium crafty against my snappy fl-80, to me they are on par with each other. While the snappy is a bit more quiet, the crafty is not objectionable.

Both mechanisms are smooth

The crafty is marked made in USA the snappy is not marked.

The crafty retails for about 1/2 of the snappy.

Both are very nice ratchets and I'm glad I have both.
