Went to variety tools located in the lower level of sheridan mall in Toronto. They are affiliated with g2sequip.ca and carry everything in the tool catalogue.

mayhew mini picks and add me to the OTC bandwagon

makita did not have the nicest colors of power tools out there. Through they are good tools. But I have to agree the black is one of the better color schemes they have. The white was ok, better then the makita blue.

I have never once bought or not bought a tool based on color. If I need it or itis a good deal I will buy it regardless of color. I guess thats why I have green, orange , red and black snap on hand tools. Same with my drills. I do not care about the color. I love my makita drills. My Snap On guy was floored when I bought red torx drivers and green screwdrivers. I told him I bought them to use not look at. I did not want to wait a week just to have them match.

I agree with you, but I may have to draw the line at this one.

If that was the last one and I needed it I would still buy it. If I had a choice in color I would not. I would then give it to my wife then buy another

noooo :)
but first Makita copied the Panasonic color scheme with their white series and now they copy the Panasonic

But it´s ok :) :D just a observation. I like your drill. nice color :D

For the life of me, I've really been confused about why Panasonics battery powered tools aren't more prolific.

This time it seems Makita was first because nobody else dares to make a power tool in that color

Hitachi has a nice selction of colors, unfortunately only in Japan

You can get the Hitachi green in the US. My good friend uses one at the junkyard all the time. Nice little thing.

I think in the USA they are pretty much only available in green. That's the color Lowe's carries.

Got some gearwrench spark plug sockets and a set of 3/8 vim locking extensions. I can tell straight from taking them out I hate the vim. They feel super cheap and I thought the handles where removable but you hook the ratchet at the bottom of the handle. Worthless in my book might throw them up on ebay.
