Lowes 28" Gladiator Cabinets $71 - VERY YMMV

So I was browsing Lowes for Gladiator cabinets and stumbled upon a discounted price at a Lowes near me. The 28" cabinets that normally run for $129 were on-sale for $96 at this location (Plano (East), TX). I immediately jumped on it and was apply to also apply my 10% mailer coupon bringing the price down to $87 each + tax. The order went through and sure enough, I got a ready for pick-up email and snatched them up. I tried going back through but it now shows OOS for this location and all the other stores around me show the $129 price. Below is a screen shot of my order. Not as good as the Sears 30" cabinets that were on-sale but oh well.

Good Luck!

Nice find! I have all Sears/Craftsman cabinets and wish I would of went Gladiator, they look to be a little thicker metal and more sturdy.

Yep, I found that to be true as well. The Cman cabinets just didn't seem to be built as well as the Gladiator cabinets. They reminded me of their lowest end tool chests.

There's two by me as well for $71. I do like the welded 30" though. Hows the quality on the bolt together one?

The quality is decent. Nothing heavy-duty, but perfect for general storage.

If anyone in the Northeast wants two, I'm going to put mine up for sale. They are assembled, and are unused. I just don't have a good place to put them... They are about 1" too shallow to hold all my organizers, which is a drag.

Picked up all this at my local Lowes store out the door for $150. Large locker cabinet, wall shelf with fold down door and metal mesh shelf, plus a couple dozen pieces of the geartrack.

looks like Lowes are getting Kobalt branded cabinets to replace the Gladiator brand. Saw them on display. I don't like the look of the Kobalt.

Yea, i got a flyer from Lowe's with the new Kobalt line of stuff. The gladiator line looks way better. I wonder if Lowe's is going to stop carrying gladiator, or less selection, and try to pimp their own wares. At least it might make for some great clearance sales.

New to the forum but thought I would share. Went to my lowes and the 28" was marked at $90 for clearance but imagine my surprise when it rang up $35! I tried to get them to do a deal on the fold away workbench but they said they aren't authorized to do that yet. I'll be stopping by a couple times a week because they only had a couple of the items marked for clearance.
