I.D. these ratchets

Hello, I picked up these ratchets in a box lot at a auction and one doesn't have any markings on it and the other ones says mustang.

There both 1/2 drive. I cant get the mustang one open but it has a oil hole.

The Mustang was a NB economy line & the other ratchet is a Walden 1150.

Nope, Walden is long gone. What's wrong? Slipping or just rough? Often, a thorough cleaning and fresh quality lube can work wonders on these old coarse toothed ratchets.

I tried cleaning it, you can see in the pics that the one pawl catches on a tooth and then you cant ratchet it any more

Some of you guys may be too young to remember this evil character from "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest"...

...but I always thought her name - Nurse Ratched - was a perfect combination of wretched and ratchet.

I looked at the pawl pic, and I'd guess the wear is in the cam to switch directions; its not disengaging fully. Is it only in one direction, or both? Maybe the cam slipped on the actuator if it is a press on?
