I would really like an old snappy version of one or more of these, anyone know if they ever made them?

I am sure they had some branded for them, but as far as in-house production, that is doubtful.

i know you are looking to get a snappy one of these

but if you are looking for something that functions better, have a look at one of these

That is pretty neat but it is also too big, I jus want a smallish "bowl" to hold nuts and washers and stuff when I am on a project.

And I know it is so stupid, but I just want to keep it branded with the rest of my gear. Truly stupid I know haha.

Side note, if I walked into a shop and they had that thing stuck to any body part of my car I would ******* lose it!

haha good luck finding one, I'll be impressed if you do. I have only ever seen BP one's. Which is weird cause Matco and Mac both make their own magnetic trays, so why wouldn't SO? That's like Matco making Silver Eagle trays instead of Matco branded trays..

I have one that says MATCO. One that says Crfatsman and a few that says
OCC. So I'm sure they make one that says Snap On. But it will not be made by Snap On.

I've got a few but they are far from excellent condition.

I think I have one at work that says "Blue Point by Snap-On" or something close. It does say Snap-On on it and it's a two magnet tray.

Is it red?

I am sure that I have seen one that said "Snap-On" that was red.

Probably because blue point is there rebadged brand now. They make a lot more money buying the exact product they sell at harbor freight for $5 and jacking up the price to $28

Actually, we should have a contest to see who could make the coolest magnetic trays or bowls from vintage tool box parts or things like auto parts.

No...not red. It looks just like the second tray pictured in your first post. Here, I found a pic...well kinda. It's the one on the bottom right but it's blocked by my big *** nuts. :spit:

Give me a break. I don't think a company would do that. The blue-point is engineered to perfection using state of the art technology, and steel found in asteroids from Superman's home planet of Krypton when it exploded.

This is insane.
Why search for an expensive version of something that is available at every discount tool place in the world for about $2.99?
It will NOT work any better just because it has an expensive brand name on it.

How much? Any interest in picking one up for me?

I think he said they were something like $14 or $15. He had about six of them. They are not as heavy duty as my other trays and they might even be China made but they're functional. Normally I wouldn't fool with it but I know it's killin' ya:lol: If you want I'll call my dealer and have him set one aside for you when he stops by next week. You far to ship to?

BHH Lemme know if these hacks can't get ya situated or not. I can ship one to ya just like the package that had the bottle opener. And my lady dealer has a few of them.

Hacks? I'm not a tool dealer or re-seller, I'm just doing the best I can for a fellow GJ member. No need to be nasty.

Might be easier going this route since we have done business in the past :rocker:
