Old School Hardware Store for Sale, TX

They have an ad in the Houston CL. No association with the business. Just thought it was kind of cool.

Lot's of little bins, cubbies,display cases and drawers. It would take some time to take it all in. Mostly hardware. Didn't see too many tools in the pics.

Thank you for posting NOTENOUGH, I visited a similar hdw store in Iowa some years back. Reminds me of real hardware stores when I was a young lad.

The way it appears in the pictures they have covered up the old wood floor with carpet. That is a shame. Always nice to walk into an old hardware store and the floors ALWAYS creaked.

I don't think it's actually an old store since the listing says "Year Est.:2009". looks more like a "Restoration Hardware" outlet.

Looks more like an antique store / flea market presented on an old store theme. All those door knobs placed in individual compartments on the shelf; just the door knobs---where is the hardware to actually use them. That is just decoration. There are a few old time hardware stores still in business. Can name one in Hope, AR (Lagrone Williams Hardware) and I have been in one in Natchitoches, LA.
