Fluke 289 True-rms Industrial Logging, W/ Trend Capture

The Fluke 289 True-rms multimeter is on sale at only $440.00. This model has trend capture mode and is really a high end multimeter. Do you think it is worth it?

Well it really depends what you are doing with it, What is your occupation??

Well after researching the FLUKE 280 series mulitmeter, it seems they lack some important features. The FLUKE 88-V seems like a better purchase because it measures pulse width that other multimeters lack. This is a nice feature to have. It is expensive though around $400.00

Yeah, $400.00 is a lot of money for a multimeter, but this is certainly a very high quality feature rich multimeter.

I know, I'm just giving you ****. You wouldnt want to be lugging around a table to set your 40-50 lb 'scope on anyway...

I have had a fluke 87 for 18 years , has the 10 ms min max , the 88 has a dwell tach that is kind of outdates
