Went to Sears today to by one 13mm wrench, and had it in my hand ($10 &change) when I saw the last box of these on the clearance table. Went for one, took home twenty.

They work, and unless you are doing wrenching professionally. These wrenches will not have any issue. Your options are to pay 50 dollars for a fully set, or spend 300 for snap on. Or in my case 200 for Taiwan made protos.

If I had a choice of 2 set like this one from Taiwan and one from china, I would go with Taiwan. But I have not seen a set of Taiwan made thing large or cheap. And as mention, gearwrench makes a decent tool in china.

I'm writing that down and will use it! Just picked up a set. Too bad I had to drive 30 miles to get them. My sears has been sold out. Got them home and put them in my empty drawer in my cart. Grabbed one just to check the spin and noticed:
1. there is no reverse action on these and
2. mine had a crappy stamp job on the logo. Half of the Gearwr h was missing. I havent used them yet. They seemed really light but the module and cheap cover will come in handy for a while.
As others have said, for the price, it's a bargain. I just wouldnt waste the time to fire up the engraver!

I have a full set of metric and standard I got as a present about 12 years ago. I need to check and see Country of Origin on them, curious if they are the same China junk. I have used and abused the hell out of them and haven't had 1 single issue yet. Done some things with them I knew would prob break them (or any wrench) and they held up to everything.

If mine were made by the same people I would buy an extra set at this price for every toolbox I own!
