The far side of crazy.. but sometimes Australia
In a scene reminiscent of something from a black and white comedy movie, earlier tonight I sent the small drill press careering off the bench with a ladder and it fell onto the open drawer of my recently replaced under warranty roll cab....

Bent the Drawer and mangled the RHS slide, completely destroyed the pulley cover on the drill press (havent put a dial on it yet to see if it bent the shaft too), busted the on/off switch.

Sometimes the only thing to say is FML

Maybe tommorow if I can be arsed.

may need to re organize

That sir, is a freaking understatement. The shed where the mishap occurred is the smaller of the two, got building projects at two houses and its full of construction supplies, a lathe in pieces (it fell off a tail lift, stop freaking laughing already!!) plus all the **** that wouldnt fit in the house when we moved and the remnants of my building tools that didnt get stolen a couple of weeks from the project house.

thanks for the laugh
Your welcome. You'll probably get a bigger laugh when you see the thread about me spending countless hours and more than the drill is worth resurrecting it.

Here I thought I was going to see pictures of someone crushing their snap on tool cart when lowering a car on a lift. Your story sounds funnier though. More beer, every mishap goes better with more beer.

I nearly did that with a Graco Oil King once. Stopped before the car had dropped down far enough to split it open or anything, but it never was quite "straight" again after that...

Definitely want to see the photos of the carnage. That said, can't blame him too much. Gotta be difficult to keep things from falling over when everything's upside-down...
