Hey All,

I love to come across a site or catalog with best of class products for a specific industry or job, ESPECIALLY if those products are VERY specific to that job.

Sometimes the stuff is exactly what I need in my unrelated job, sometimes it inspires me to mod or create something, and sometimes, it is just fascinating to see how creative people solved the problems in their field.

I was inspired to start this thread when Rodm1 posted this link to a Railroad specialty supplier in another thread.

I had no idea some of this stuff existed, and now I not only know it exists, I know where to get it.

So if you know of a specialty supplier, with cool tools and supplies focused on a specific job or industry, post a link!

I'll start with Ben Meadows- a catalog specifically for surveyors, foresters, rural firefighters and other people who work outdoors. I found some really neat rescue and survival gear, and some cool tools.

Aircraft Spruce always has interesting tools. Lots of stuff for sheet metal fabrication and repair, and riviting, as well as other specialty tools used on aircraft (like safety wire jigs, etc).

More for fire and law enforcement but still neat stuff. I love the compressed air chisels. Lot of neat lifting and stabilizing equipment. Paratech makes the best halligan and flathead axe on the market as well as other stuff.

Edarley.com is also cool. Lotta stuff there as well.
