Hi guys...was turned on to this site from a member at ClassicBroncos.com. I'm in the process of planning/building a 2-car detached garage to house my obsessions. I'd love to have something bigger, but am trying to stay within the good graces of my neighbors and wife! So to compensate I'm planning on including a lift so I can put 3 cars in there when needed...and work on them in the air.

Here is a quick sketch-up of my initial plan. I'm in the process of having professional CADD done. I've already learned a bunch on here and am looking forward to learning more!

Some details:
-likely going with a 4-post lift in bay 1;
-slim pak HVAC is the current plan. I considered radiant for heat, but it's pricey and likely not necessary in my climate.
-considering steel beams for hoists
-rough cut fir beam will be used for the hoist to the storage loft off the front
-24'x26' outside dimensions
-6" external construction fully insulated
-future proof electrical with lots of 220V for lift, welder, etc.
-8'x9' roll up doors (I wanted barn doors but need to match current attached garage doors for wife and HOA.)
