Let me start by saying I do NOT want exhaust bends. I know you can buy those everywhere.

What I am looking for is someone online who sells bends in mild or DOM steel tubing (similar to what you see for custom exhaust). I do not need to buy a bender as I rarely have the need to use it but I am building a custom rear bumper for my Tacoma in a few weeks and would like to pick up a few 90* and 45* bends in 1" (or 1.25") .120 wall tubing.

Does anyone know where I could get that online or would someone on here do some bends for me and I will shoot you a paypal for the supplies and time?

Any help would be greatly appreciated; thanks!

If you can't find someone, let me know. I am doing off road fab now in addition to race car stuff and can make a few bends for you if need be.

I would call around town to some fab shops. Shouldn't cost a terrible amount for a local shop to do it and you don't have to pay shipping.

Columbia river mandrel bending. They do primarily exhaust but I think they do DOM too and if they don't stock it they surely can make it.

Good guys, somewhat local and always have great prices.

thHave to ask, what are you doing with these? No sanctioning body I know of allows welds in a main hoop (A-pillar) or the halo bar. I think (can't find my rules book this early) the book states something similar to "main hoop must be constructed from one continous run of DOM tubing" then gives the specs, and then the placement instructions. Like 1" from the headliner. Then the attachment instructions. 6"x6"x 0.125 plates welded to the floor for uni-bodies and direct to frame for full frame cars. Keith

I got my bends from Columbia for my homemade exhaust on my last garden tractor engine swap project, but couldn't find DOM or heavy wall tube bends on their site, so I recommended sharpeproducts.com, who I know offers round and square tube bends in many sizes, radiuses and wall thicknesses.

Here is another place to get weld on fittings in all types of sizes and bends and they ship as well. Just click on the lettering that says **** weld. This is for the weld on type fittings.

I built a set of stair railings with parts from Sharpe and a HF bender. I used 1-1/4" black Iron pipe and used the Sharpe parts for tight 90 degree bends, end turns with wall mounts, and wall brackets. I bent all the custom angles with the HF bender, which did OK, but flattened the pipe a little.

I would hit up the local 4x4 board and offer beer in exchange for bender time. Many 4x4 guys get a bender and there is no real wear and tear cost.
