Hey all,
Brand new to the board - GREAT site!!! Just bought a ""new" (old 1910) house after another corporate relocation and can't wait to get started with some of the great ideas I have seen here. But first....gotta show ya'll my before/after photos from 2 houses ago in Cincinnati. Had it finished just in time to get moved again to Vancouver WA. Started with musty smelly dark (note the abandoned hornet's nest I found inside the wall), ended with fresh bright and clean. New insulation, drywall, door, lights, vinyl base, paint, and wiring.

Next project is carriage house retro-style detached loft/garage to match my 1910 Victorian house in Stillwater, MN. Still have not yet finalized what the city will let me build.....

Good job and welcome to the site! Too bad you didn't post more pictures during the build... Now find a project so you can make a mess in it...

Cool beans. There are alot of knowledgable individuals on here, a few cynics and a curmudgeon or two. Welcome to the board !

Me likes the vintage toolchest.

"vintage"?!!? Ooh! Ouch! You're making me feel old.

OK, I'll confess - it's 25 years old. Bought it back in '83, used it professionally for about 10 years, and it has the battle scars to prove it (dings, dents, scratches, and even a little rust on the bottom edges). For the last 15 years it has served me well as a "hobby" box after hanging up my wrenches for a new career.
