Any takers? I just recently filled mine up and stood back and thought damn....that's got to be heavy. I'm thinking around 50lbs.
How much does a set of loaded Hansen socket trays weigh?

Yea they get heavy with the 1/2" stuff on them, they don't leave the box so its not an issue.

I've got 1/2, 3/8, 1/4. Sae and metric. There all full. Just wondering what the set (1/2, 3/8, 1/4. Sae and metric) would weigh when it's all filled in.

I use Snap-On and mac socket rails and sockets boards all day with many a full dwr. loaded up.
I'm nor sure what you are asking.
BTW---Hasen trays are not efficient thus not normally overloading. Too many factors not disclosed.

You didn't even show us a picture of what you wanted the weight of?!?! I don't think you have quite figured out GJ yet. There are a lot of folks here, who are willing to share their expertise, but all they want in exchange is a picture of what you are talking about. You are not serious about getting answers here, until you post a pic of the problem.
What I usually tell my teenagers in this situation is, "When you find out, please tell me the answer." I can think of numerous ways to get the weight of a bunch of sockets, and exactly NONE of them include typing an undefinable question to a whole forum full of smarty pants, without including at least a blurry cell phone picture of what you mean. Without seeing what you are talking about, it is nearly impossible to guess a weight.
Near the top of my list of ways to get a weight for the sockets would be something like, "Grab all those sockets and socket trays, go in to the bathroom, and weigh them on the bathroom scale (but however you figure out the weight of these mythical sockets and trays, at least TAKE A PICTURE for GJ while you are doing it! I might need to weigh a bunch of sockets some day and I won't be able to evaluate your method as an option, until I see it in action) (OH...and if you lose your bet, and have to shave one eyebrow off as the loser, please at least have the decency to take a pic of that and post it in the WTF thread...we really like pictures on GJ)

Now, I really didn't give anyone any more typed information than you did...I mentioned 'this many' yellow bins. But, anybody who cares can sit and count them, or make a quick guess.

Why do you have them loaded front to back? You can't see the Hansen numbers while standing in front of the drawer that way.

I have two rows of boxes facing each other, you have to open that drawer from the side, not front. Hard to explain but that is the way you take sockts from that drawer.

Love the Hansen trays, my sockets have never been so organized. Mine go in and out of my main box all the time. My complete set (chrome) comes in at 33.5 lbs with all the pegs filled. These are mostly older CM filled in with about two dozen Armstrongs (same as CM) and a few Blue points.

NOPE...they DO stack, but they do NOT nest. If you stack bins of the same size on top of each other, they can still be used. If you add in the fact that the boxes were not a perfect fit and there is some packing material in there, that is how big the boxes were. I spent almost as much for shipping as for the bins.
