Raised panel, i have 6 from 1/4 to 1" and something like 7(whatever the smallest) to 19 unfortunately they don't make them larger than those sizes so the 20 and 1 1/8 i got to finish the sets are 12, yes I know 1 1/16 is next after 1, didn't think about it at the time.

Ive got some of both. I keep the 12 pt sets in the F-1 and the 6-point sets in the home box. Ive never had a case where I had one style and needed the other, so IMO either way you go you will be fine.

I had both and I sold the 6 points. My sockets are pretty much all 6 point, so if I want 6 point I use a socket.

if you are getting one style, get the 12pts, then when you can, get the 6pts later.

12pt are your common combos, and most versatile. the 6pts come in handy, but are un-necessary in most situations and require twice the swing. i own both styles in standard and metric, and the 12pts are used +90% of the time.

FWIW, my local sears has the 6pt combos 12pc sets for $19.97.

yours may also

Sears near me seems to have done away with 6pt. They still have several different 12 pt RP sets(9 pc, 12 pc, 14 Pc, 26 pc) , but the wrench aisle is mostly flooded with Chinese Elbow garbage and dual ratcheting ****. :lol_hitti
