Small 11x20 in Vancouver BC

Hi everybody, new on this board and figure I'd start a post on my garage project. Just finished adding strip lights and GFCI outlets. Sorry I couldnt get a before shot but imagine just one light bulb and the left wall filled with shelves of scrap lumber from the previous owner. I recently just bought the house and before that I never had a garage so I'm pretty jacked about this project (Yay!!! No more working on cars in the rain!) . I also took a shot of my flooring that just came in the mail on Friday. I'll keep updating as I go. Please feel free to make any suggestions.

My plan is to Fully insulate the walls and ceiling with Roxul R-14 and double 5/8" drywall. Future electrical projects include adding a sub panel to support my 5hp speedaire 60 gallon compressor and a Miller welder / plasma cutter. I have come to realize that even with my girlfriend's Civic Hatchback parked in there (yes HER car ), workspace is going to be crucial. I have a few tricks up my sleeve but you guys will just have to wait until I post it up.

Rather than double drywall, consider plywood under drywall. That way you don't have to worry about hitting studs, except on the really heavy items.

That idea came across my mind a few times. I might actually do that instead of double 5/8" drywall. Seems stronger and easier for mounting stuff in the future. Thx Z!
