Hi!

Here are some pics of my project. Started building the garage in may and hopefully it will be ready (or usable) before winter.
First few weeks were like 2 - 3 days of building and then waiting for materials. It's some times a bit difficult to get what you want and when you want..
But now it's going better, just need more hours per day and days per week!

Good move on the drain!! After having one in my shop for about 10 years then moving to a shop with out one. I think it is now my most desired feature, other than air conditioning.

Where are you located? No frost?

Or are those footings dug down and railed 8" above subgrade?

Thank you for nice comments.

I'm in Finland so we have frost. There are 10 cm insulation all around the building. Just don't have a picture where those are visible.

I understand the drain (great idea as I have seen internal wash bays done this way) but can you explain the two other rectangular holes in the floor ?

The other holes are for scissor lift.

Yes my kid is really a handy man..

Finland, that explains the shirts off on what looks like a 10 deg day, which is hot for you guys. Nice Speedster

And this summer has been worst for years, but it's better for working when it's not that hot.
And we have even 24 hours of daylight in summer time for effective working.

The drain is a must in here. In winter time when you drive a snowy car in and the snow melts, you need the drain and good ventilation to get moist air out.

A really great project. Well conceived and well executed. Love your Speedster. And I really like the color. Porsche Guard's Red?

Speedster is Ferrari corso Rosso II - yep wrong color... But garage will be something like Quards Red.

Thats my present garage. Absolutely no room to do anything if the car is in there. Really waiting for my new garage to get ready.

Your old garage has a lot of charm. Looks like you used every square inch.

Thank you.
Yes it has that cosy feeling and once everything is on its place you can do something in there. But it tends to get messy...

That New home for the Speedster seems well thought out, with the floor heat, drain, and pre-planned holes for the lift. Nice!

The car looks like one my uncle used to take me for rides in when I was a kid, his wasn't quite as red as yours.

Great place, and fun to watch it all come together for you.

Hi from neighbouring Estonia. Looks great. How deep did you dig the foundation and how much gravel under the lints? Were in Finland are you? Seems like you have similar silt soil to what we have here in northerna Estonia but I might mistake from the pictures.

And how's the Cocraft toolbox? I guess it's sold by Clas Ohlsson?

Hello to Estonia! Thank you.
I'm in Jyväskylä.

In this picture you can see the foundations. Under the footings is maby 30cm of crushed stone. The soil under it is pretty hard clay.

Just bought the Cocraft boxes (yes from Clas Ohlsson) and for that price they seem to bee a good deal.
