Not that it's a bad deal, but the thing about sets like that is that they include a whopping *six* combination wrenches. 3 metric, 3 standard. Yeah, that's useful. Useful for building duplicates when you buy a full set. Just leave the freaking 6 combination wrenches out and drop the price to whatever.

Do they think people will actually buy other sizes individually and not piece together it's insane to do that if you buy even 2 or 3 more wrenches?

Just a rant I guess. Sorry. As I said, still a good deal for that set.

I think that's the set I use for road trips. It's a decent set with room to add additional tools inside the black plastic case. I've added ratcheting wrenches, a few screw drivers, electrical tape, zip ties and other roadside tools. I normally keep it in my daily driver SUV but I throw it in the trunk of my '55 Chevy for long drives, road trips and such.

I've always thought 1/4 ratchets and sockets were basically worthless but this set changed my mind. I was having a tough time doing some work under the dash of my '03 Denali and this tool set saved the day.

Good set of tools that's worth $100.

It includes metric sockets up to 14mm in 1/4" drive, but only 9-13mm in 1/2" drive. Who puts these sets together?
