HF torque gauge for rachets

Well I stood there at HF holding this and thought it was either the greatest thing or a quick way to lose $30. Looks like it could break veeeeery easily. Anyone have any experience with this? I don't need a TW very often, but I am guessing it would be worthwhile to just go buy a quality one rather than this - looks gimmicky. :dunno:

Seems like a winner, but I think folks are largely using it as a calibration checker against torque wrenches. I suppose if you were hard up, you could use it as a tq wrench with a ratchet/breaker bar, but it's hard to imagine a situation where someone would have this adapter but no torque wrench.
