i am considering to look for other service cart that has all drawers top to bottom not as same i own a MSC4 that have waste space at bottom of cart.

all drawers work fine but slides are basic as worn out and matco want 70 dollars each... the WORSE is all casters has cause bent the bottom metal sheet (it was happened before i bought it 6 years ago from heavy equipment tech)...

I do like Cornwell's new serie 700 as more deep drawers came with double slides.... also better caster frames!

i am not sure if should i just modified like add thick metal sheet to bottom of cart (my tech friend has free thick metal sheet that he took it to home after my work had put new alignment lift and pull the old one out)..

I has MSC12 at my garage but i did used it at my work and i dont like the top slides as take whole space!

i was surprised that cornwell dealer said he will give me 300 dollars for my MSC4 that i paid 375 dollars 6 years ago... but i am felt like i dont want let my cart go... i like it as i had kept it at my garage until i had to swap from MSC12 to MSC4 at my work...

i was thinking about just look for used craftsman with griplatch bottom box to use it or look for used one???

If you can find a used/repo Snap-On KRSC series box you might be better off. The Cornwell doesn't have drawer detents for one, and I don't know about you but I don't close and lock my cart every time I move it. Also, the Cornwell is a Mexican built box, don't know if that matters to you but I've set both side by side before and I'll take my S-O over my foreman's Cornwell any day.

I also have a KRSC326 and the cart is welded, not bolted together, has a lifetime warranty on the slides and casters and is pretty bullet proof. Like others have noted, it is only 32" wide and will fit where the huge 40"+ carts can't. It is also made in Iowa instead of Taiwan. I also have a MSC4 Matco cart and there is no comparison between the two.

The craftsman is the same size perhaps, but having owned both (my "big" box at work is a 40" craftsman) the built quality and durability is leaps and bounds ahead with Snap-On. My KRSC40 doesn't sound like it's going to rattle apart when you roll it across the shop floor like a craftsman box does.

My KRSC40 is every bit of the claimed 40 inches wide, and it doesn't bother me one bit. I can keep ALL my commonly used tools on my cart instead of walking across the shop to grab something out of my other box. Only tools I regularly use (not every day, but regularly) that aren't on it are my 42" pry bar and my creeper. And the only reason the big bar isn't on the cart because I can't close the lid with it in there.

If I remember correctly, Matco's part # on the slides was K7RSRBS. Drop the K7 & do an internet search for just the RSRBS. You can find them cheap, they are made by Sunnex & the same slides fit other brands.

One tech at my work has the snap on cart its a beast way bigger and heavier than i like but it is built one tech has the napa tool cart that has drawers all the way down with flip open lid its actually really well built and nice and third of the cost of snappy
