Hey guys,I have been without a truck for about a year now and have been watching ebay but apparently not close enough.I am looking for the hard plastic handle ratchet's and breaker bar's in 1/4,3/8 and 1/2" drive sizes.I would like Orange handles but may be interested in whatever colours you have available.I am not looking for pristine collector stuff, used but in reasonable shape is fine(I don't care about engravings either,my tools get used)I am also looking for a complete set of the SAE box end ratcheting wrenches(in tray) with the orange plastic handles, matco also sold these with a green handle set,I would be interested in those. This is all stuff for my second set of tools at home, please pm me if you have any of this stuff and would like to part with it.
Thanks in advance,G

eBay is the only place to really find this. But you will pay a premium for it. I've paid very steep prices for my orange handled stuff.

So stuff like my set of orange handle screwdrivers, and 4pc prybar set are high dollar these days? :headscrat I wonder why only orange and not the yellow, green, red, and blue that used to also be offered?

I am aware that I will pay a premium for these items,I really don't care.I will buy the orange because it is readily available but will take any of the other colours, the wierder the better. My plan is simply to make the set that I want to have out of the nicest of the stuff and back to ebay with the leftovers.I already have a 1/4" ratchet in orange,a 1/4" breaker bar in black,3-3/8" ratchets in blue(earnhardt) as well as a 1/4" ratcheting handle in orange(built this myself)I had a fairly decent collection of these ratchets that got stolen about the same time that snap-on discontinued them and have been 4 years trying to piece it back together.

Basically I want one rougher set at work and a really nice set in the home box.I figured it was a shot in the dark to post it here but if people know you are looking they may pop up before they make it to ebay.

BTW Moose, your orange handle collection is pretty snazzy, got any duplicates that you want to sell.

I would love to have some of the wierder colours, the best I can figure is that they were not available as long or just not pushed. How cool would a long 1/2" breaker bar with a pink handle be?

Thanks, but i only really buy tools. I never sell them, if i have something i no longer need/want i pass it on to whoever wants it. As for orange Snap-on stuff, i always keep it and have many duplicates. All part of the ever-growing collection. Sorry. :(

That would actually be pretty awesome. Might have to look into that. As i have two 1/2" 24" breaker bars with hard handles..

There hasn't been a lot on lately that's caught my eye. I'm moving on to bigger test gear at the moment. Compression testers, diesel compression testers, leakdown testers, fuel pressure testers etc..

I still keep a look out for the other things. wrenchr, you know of one thing i'm after.
