Tile over densified slab ?

Would a smooth densified slab need to be ground to lay porcelain tile ?
I want to be sure of a good "stick" . This is a 1 year old virgin slab.
Clean as a whistle but smooth. Thanks in advance.

No you don't need to do anything to it. I have successfully laid tile over epoxy painted deck. Deck is outside. Has been fine for a year. I am almost convinced thinset can make a most anything stick.
