Just bought 2 Craftsman 26" Wide 5-Drawer Heavy-Duty Ball-Bearing Rolling Cabinets - Black/Platinum colored.
My plan is to take nuts and bolts and nails and screws off my shelves on the wall and put them in the rolling cabinets. The cabinets fit well under the work bench I bought from Sams Club years ago.
What are you guys using for nut/bolt holders in the drawers?
And wonder if anyone has changed the casters these cabinets come with.
Only 2 out of the 4 casters rotate 360 degrees.
Or can I drill new holes and switch the direction of the stationary casters? Thanks for any help.

I got a bunch of these plastic trays from HF and popped the lids off. Cheap and it works.

I saw a post on here a while ago where one member cut the bottoms off of oil and coolant bottles (even with the height of the drawers) and used those to store his hardware.

Sorry, I don't remember who it was or what thread it was in.

I mounted my generic hardware organizer to a vertical panel that was mounted to two heavy duty drawer slides mounted underneath my workbench, see the attached photo. This is really handy in my application and makes good use of space under my workbench. The family Handyman magazine was where I got the idea, but they used a cleat system and hung individual hardware tubs on the slide out panel, see the second photo.

Been thinking about how I want to store this stuff for a long time. The stuff on my shelf over my bench is getting to heavy and I wanted a rolling cabinet to roll to the poject in the garage .
