I think his Pappy is giving him ideas.I gave our daughter Ella my little wrench to hold on to and she wouldn't give it back. I think we need to find her some tools of her own that are soft and chewable for a few more months.

Both my daughters had a tool bench and tools in my shop from about 4 or 5 years old then moved up to my tools and tool bench. Today one is 19 and she has her own set of tools and works on her 77 TA and 85 Bronco 4x4. My 10 yo has her own set of tools and has been looking at old Mustangs on eBay and at all the shows we go to.
On a side note when a gave him some spare tools he questioned me about passing "junk" tools off on him.![]()

My son (look to the left) used to make a trip to the tool chest every night for tools to play with... about 2 yrs at the time. Now he wants a tool chest for his small collection of tools... almost 7 yrs old.
He has settled for a drawer in my chest. On a side note when a gave him some spare tools he questioned me about passing "junk" tools off on him.I think his Pappy is giving him ideas.
awesome!
now if there ever was a reason not to buy chinese, this would be it.................right merkava?

GIVE HIM ALL THE TOOLS THEY WANT , IF they keep the grades up , so it can remain a fun hobby , not a dreary job
Is the wrench your daughter holding made by Snap on?![]()
It is a 4" Mac with the black finish that I always carry in my pocket. This one is 3 or 4 years old, as I had to leave my previous one at the airport in St. Louis, because "tools are not allowed on the plane". I asked them to show me a hex fastener anywhere in the passenger compartment that it could be used on and they responded with, "yes, it's a stupid rule, but that's what it says. If you have a padded mailer with prepaid postage, you can mail it from that box over there."
dang, that's raw deal! One time When I flew AA, they let me put my leatherman tool, that I'd mistakenly forgot in my carry on, in a small cardboard box and it got sent with the checked stuff. All I had to do was bust *** and run back to the ticket counter...![]()
