Well after finally organizing my tool box, i found I'm missing like 20 some odd sockets from 1/4 to 1/2.

They are craftsman, do you guys know of any sites outside of sears where i can purchase individual sockets for a decent price as sears wants almost 5 bucks a piece for most.

Trying to avoid purchasing a whole new set.

$5 a pop? Hah that is cheap.

Yard sales and flea markets will have boxes of sockets you can buy for chump change sometimes. Maybe tool-oriented pawn shops?

If it is the older non laser etched, sears online is the best option. The older ones are about 3-4.50 a socket depending on drive.

Ebay has them but shipping can really add up on them.

I would get the item number form the website, and go to sears and use their free shipping on their computer.

That is my specialty actually. :) I have many that I haven't gotten around to posting yet, so it might be better to just send me a list of what you need and I'll give ya deal on a bundled lot.

web email form: http://junkyardtools.com/contact

I have both used and new, but you can get idea of my pricing in the catalog. My new prices usually run around 50-percent of retail list price. And like I said, if you buy many, I'll give you a price break.

If you're a Sears card holder, you should be a member of "shop your way rewards". You gain points/cash to spend at Sears when you use your Sears card. I use the earned points/cash to make small purchases.

Woody tip: The best way to go is to buy full sets; but I find more fun in doing it another way. When I look through the local CL I type in a search term like "Sockets",then I make a house call and I tend to buy the box lot. The last deal I picked up was 65 craftsman sockets which came out to around .33 cents per socket.

Sometimes you will get some chinese sockets but throw them in you car for working in the local junk yard.

and 3/4. $20.00. It is all new stuff. It's in southern wisconsin at the Ill/wis border.
