Any suggestions on what accessories to get?

The drawers already have non-slip pads in them. I already picked up socket rails (wasn't sure what socket organizers to get that would both fit the drawers as well as hold my sockets - some Pittsburgh... most Craftsman), a magnetic paper towel holder and a magnetic parts holder.

I was thinking about also getting a magnetic tool holder to put onto the lid (saw another member did that and thought it was a great idea).

Is this your primary box or just a cart? I like to have a shelf, setting stuff on the lid is a pita.

Primary box. Currently, I have my tools on my workbench in the basement. Screwdrivers and the like on a pegboard, while sockets still kept in the carrying case that they came in from the store. I also use a tool bag whenever I need to take my tools away from the house.

I'm in the process of moving my workbench into the garage. There's already a wooden tabletop with some shelves out there that was there when we moved in, but no pegboards. I figured by having a tool cart, I could keep most/all my tools out there... where I do most of my work (either work on the vehicles or wood-related).

Save up some cash and get the side box. Either multi dwr. or door.

Aside from that ditch the lid struts and go Snap-On chrome lock cart hinges for $10.

Last a lifetime and are not $15 ea.+ every 3 years.

Flip down work side table and update the key lock.

Other than that it is bullet proof. Big time. I love them.

I didn't think they offered any add-ons for this cart... or are you referring to getting a separate multi-drawer/door cabinet?

Do you have a link where to get those Snap-On hinges? I'll probably just wait until the struts that came with the cart fail before replacing them though.

A flip-down side work table would be nice... but I didn't see one available for this cart while at HF. Can you point me in the right direction?

How about an updated key lock? What one will fit?
