Dumb asses had to move some walls? Tiles looked solid so I assume you went over them after roughing them up? I see just a little ghosting on the entry was why I assumed. Good looking project.

Is it some kind of self-leveling concrete with a stain? It looks nice.

(Although the tile looked pretty good, too.)

Love the look . . . just too expensive for my garage floor. Not to mention the new skill set to install that level of epoxy. Have 700sq ft of 58 cent ceramic floor tile just waiting to be installed.

Common Jack, tile are so passe...hahaha....JK ;) To be honest the tile was fricken hard as hell. It beat the **** out of my diamonds. The Company we did this for is a scuba diving Company, hence the subtle wave action here and there. The tile just didn't go with the Company's theme.

This was a self leveling polymer modified 5500 psi concrete, then stained with an acetone based dye and sealed with an epoxy and polyurethane sealer.

@Gene, yes, I only got a bit of ghosting in the entry near the logo, no where else thank goodness. (figures you'd find something to criticize) Couldn't pour it any thicker there because it would of poured out into the entryway sidewalk.

The client was super happy. He wanted to have an ocean effect and I think we accomplished it. May not be everyone's taste but whatever the look our client wants, we can definitely give it to them. Thanks for the compliments and critiques (Gene):willy_nil .

Hey Jack, I'm ready to cover your old ugly tiles when you are ready

Wasn't trying to make bad. I think it looks great! I've been on projects like this and ghosting has been bad on some of them. Hard to control sometimes.

What kills me it's never in some dark, dank corner. I can have a great floor with one bad spot and it's always at the entry or main focal point of a floor. Closets are always perfect. :)

I prefer the tile, too. More character.

Wow! Love the new seamless look... even though I'm got 800 sqrt feet of tiles sitting in the new garage for a future "JO look". :)

Thanks,
Ron

I like it, I had no idea that was even possible.

It sure as hell is going to be easier to clean.

I liked the tile!

Jim

+1. Looks cold and commercial now.

The tile looked nice, laid out like ****, not symmetrical, but whatever. Looked rich and inviting.

But good job. It is crazy how you can do that over the tile. I would not even imagine that being possible.

Love it, some of the tile looked nice (the decrotive patterns).

Did a sign company make that logo? is it under the material you painted or just layed on top?

Very Nice indeed.

Had a sign shop make a reverse tweed and I used it as a stencil....applied a white epoxy, then sealed the whole floor
