I have one of those, I like it a lot. Not real loud, puts out plenty of air for me. Get some dryer system or something as it does make lots of water running grinders and such.

Did you have to go in the store to see this price?

I set your Store as my home and checked the price and it was $469

How is this one compared to the IR SS3L3? I am about to buy the IR but my HD has this for 350 which is half the price of the IR. Basically is the IR twice the machine this one is?

Ya, price on the web didn't match the price in the store.

Those who have this, any more feedback? One near me, but I don't really need it- but would buy providing its a long term (reliable and quiet) compressor.

Any coupons work in conjunction with this???

Thanks!

I have a 26 gal, CH with a US made motor and pump. I'm tempted to trade up, but I really only need the volume for blowing out the sprinkers. Any thoughts on this? I usually just add an extra tank to get the volume up when needed.

Still $469 here.

Does anyone know if Home Depot will price match other home depot stores?

Awwwww yeaahhhh. I typically never get this lucky. I saw this thread and the price was $549 online. Went in the store and they actually had one in stock and for $349. Used my Lowes coupon and walked out with it for $313 + tax. I'm pretty excited.

I just bought one last week too, at $349 in MI. I called Campbell hausfeld (who makes these compressors), rep said not to keep compressor on wood skid, as it could crack welds on tank from being mounted on skid. :shocking:He Said to set it on vibration absorbing pads. Sounds like that makes sense....:dunno:

Good tip. I had been wondering about that. What pads are you going with? I looked on McMaster, but I'm not sure what exactly to look for.

Above link shows a set offered at Tractor Supply that Campbell makes.
This set may require bolting compressor to floor. Ya, McMaster had a lot of options too....

CH may have had issues with welds cracking on tanks from being left on skids, who knows, rep seemed pretty adamant about it. Maybe he's trying to peddle vibration isolators!!!

I went by Home Depot and they had the 80 gallon for $599 and the 60 for $349

The 80 gallon is 884 in my store :-( on sale... supposedly marked down from 1174.. no 60 gallons

I was thinking about getting one, but the 135psi rating is turning me off. I rather pay a bit more to get a 150-155 psi tank.

I lucked out and found one for $437 ( Canada ) but the only one left was a floor model and missing the pressure gauge and air filter. I convinced the salesman to give it to me for $300!! Used it to blow out my sprinklers already. Now I just need some air tools.
