Entering My Main - I'm Overthinking This

I know I'm overthinkin this...BUT at the same time, its nice to get another set of eyes and opinions...
Pic attached...Conduit will come down into the basement (Blue Line)...the original plan was to enter via the Black Arrow Knockout (Gonna drill it tomorrow AM pending the outcome of this thread) Looking at it...I can come in via the bottom knockout (Yellow)... Where my question lies is with the 2-2-2-4 wire, will it be workable enough to allow me to enter via the Black Arrow and get the breaker installed/etc? Or will coming up in thru the bottom center allow for a cleaner/neater install?

If the conduit comes down the wall, use the side. Making 2- 90 deg turns at the bottom of the box will be difficult. Are you converting this panel to a sub-panel? If so, the grounds and neutral need separating. If not, why 2-2-2-4?

This is my Main panel which will be feeding the 100A sub in my new garage...the 2-2-2-4 will be feeding that panel.
I've already got the sub installed...Neutral/Ground is NOT Bonded, and i've installed a new seperate ground in it.

I did mine exactly like that and I had 3-2/0 wires and 1-#1 AL in a 2" conduit coming from my 100 amp panel in my barn.

Thanks mrobins297aaa...just punched out that knockout. I'll deburr it tomorrow when the kids are up and voila...done deal.
Instead of an LB, I got an LR for there...same difference, but accessing the panel on the LR will be much easier...

Put the breaker on the lower right. If you put it on the left, you end up making a S with the wires, while on the right, you go straight across and make a fairly wide 180 with them into the breaker.

Do you have the large add on lugs for connecting the large wires to the ground bar?

GREAT Idea on the breaker on the lower right...might actually install it in the bottom-most corner to make it easy to find (if i ever need to explain it to SWMBO over the phone)
