Looking for high rise 4 post lift

I am looking for a 4 post lift that will go high enough to park an 8' high truck under. The usual vehicle on the lift (for storage) will be a 5,000 lb Chrysler Imperial. The only lift I have found which goes high enough is the Bendpak HD-7PXW. Looks like a good lift and will serve the purpose, but it is a 7,000 lb capacity. I would also like to be able to lift my F-350 for servicing. The F-350 is about 8,000 lbs, so that won't work. Actually, I did find some lifts that would stack full size buses, but at $40k, those are a bit beyond my means! Any tips will be appreciated!

Your best bet might be to get a 7' lift (there are a few out there) and put it up on 1 foot blocks (suitably strong and stable, of course). You may need longer ramps to get up the extra 1 foot when the lift is down at it's lowest point lowest point.
