My Snap On guy always has something interesting in the used tool drawer, this week I got a 90th anniversary black MG325 for $90. Now I wish I had bought the 3/8 impact sockets he had on for 1/2 price a few weeks ago. In the past I've also scored a PT110 for $25, and a real nice MAC AH750 air hammer with a quick change chuck for $45. Anyone else have similar luck?

Do most SO dealers have a used stuff drawer? I haven't dealt with my local guy in a while. Even when I was buying a few things from him here and there I wasn't aware of a used stuff drawer.

My guy rarely has good used stuff on the truck. I have bought an older 1/2 SO impact for 50, im 5100 i think.. 2 right angle blue point die grinders 30 for the pair, and a SO cut off tool with jacobs chuck for 25. Usually he has odd ball used stuff, like socket rails or one time a bag of craftsman sockets that he wanted 50 bucks for...

My snappy dude always wants high end ebay prices for used stuff. Which seems to make new snappy prices look better. I did beat him up on a f872mp once though.

I bought a used snap on screwdriver set once for $40 just for the handles. If you ask my guy can usually find one.

I had a mg325 that I bought on eBay, that was stolen right out if the package. It package was delivered empty.
Seller did refund my money. I ended up paying 150$ for a used one. My SO guy doesn't even cut me a break on the air fittings. Or those pocket screwdrivers. Sheesh.
I find the deals on eBay. Or I try.

Use stuff totally depends on how much the dealer wants to deal with it. My first SO was the most ******** tool guy I ever had. His truck was big enough to fitt 2 KRLs, a KRA combo and a blue point box, solely for display, he would order you a box if wanted one. The blue point box was filled with used stuff. He had pretty good prices and I bought a lot out of it. Since then, most guys I deal with maybe have a drawer for mostly ****. My old cornwell guy had some pretty good deals. The SO dealer at my other store is a wheeler dealer. When there is a plier, screwdriver or what ever the deal, he will have a box just filled with trade in and normally good stuff. I probalby tripled my ratchet count out of that box. One time I got a 3/8" and 1/2" long handle comfort grip SO ratchets for $50 for the pair.

My buddy has bought some rebuilt air tools from his dealer. I've been on the truck many times and never asked about a used drawer.

A good tool guy will have a well stocked used tool drawer most of the time. It shows he can wheel and deal with the best of them.

I got a nice Matco metric hex bit set for $10 off a Cornwell truck once. He always had super cheap stuff, but when I started looking in the bargain bin every week, it mysteriously dried up or got pretty expensive. :(

The question of the day is: If you buy a used SO wrench off of the SO truck does it have a warranty since you would not be the original owner?
