Hi guys, My garage was built by Shirk Builders from Pennsylvania. It was started on July 5th and finished 7 days later. Concrete and all! Came back on the 8th day to hang the gutters (1 guy and 45 minutes later and he was gone). I am in the process of doing the electric and water hookup.
The footprint is 28 ft wide with one bay 30 ft. deep and the other is 42 ft. deep. There is a second story that is 30X12. Looking to get more windows installed in the front part of the second story.

Salvaged the door rollers and hardware, a good bit of the wood. The hoop was put on by the previous owner.Would have liked to refurb the old barn but it was to far gone. (Besides the 2nd floor is bigger than the old barns 2nd floor.)

Looks great. Is there a man door on the side? A window or two would be nice for the loft area in the front.

Let me guess....Amish built?

yes it is. 7 days done!

There is a man door on the short side of the building. And I am adding 2 windows to the tall end. Should have done it when it was built but I was excited about finally getting a garage that I didn't think that through. No worries the builder is installing 2 windows as soon as he comes down and measures it out.

Bg brother bought me a cool piece for the garage. It has two meanings, first is this is off a Nash Metropolitan which is te car that my Mom learned to drive in. And the second is Nash is the name of my Golden retriever who is battleing cancer right now.

Sorry, didn't have the email notification.

Allen Shirk was great to work with. I was at 30K give or take 1K. The concrete was done by a company that Allen suggested. Great company all in all.
Did I mention it was done....concrete and all in 7 days.

If you dont mind, how much did it cost?

Look at above post. I think for what I have it is a great price. Just wish I had the electric run from the house during the build. I'm dealing with that mess right now. (snowed the other day and I had a 100+ foot trench in the backyard running conduit and fishing 4 legs and 3 wires for a 3 way switch to turn the lights on from the house.)

I had by pole barn (28x32x10) built (in April) by Shirk's too. We are about 3 miles from their office. Took them about 7 days too but I have board and batten siding with a shingled roof. Very quick and good to work with. We worked with Linus Shirk. Also priced out from Conestoga and Black Creek but they were more $ by far. Our price with concrete was $21,595.

Thanks Nigel. Gutters, 7-windows, 3-doors (2-10x10, 1-man door) Snow cleats and a really nice sized room upstairs 12x30!

This was 6:30 in the morning on the first day.

I have electric in the garage now. What a chore that was since I tried to save money and do it myself. The 100 foot ditch was/is a PITA! Working on it when time would allow and as of this last weekend I have power! I will have pictures soon.
