I have a few posts but haven't made the proper intro thread as of yet. I am a local Okie doc with a simple 2 car garage (down graded from 3 car to 2 car when I bought the wife a twice-the-size bigger house :dunno:). Anyway, I'd love to go crazy on this garage and build it up but this is an intermediate house and we hope to build :bounce: here in a year or two. Check the gallery and give me some pointers!
Thanks

Welcome to GJ.

Even intermediate garages need love.

Some paint goes a long way and a great work bench and tool box can go with you when you move.

Enjoy the site.

Welcome to GJ new member in Oklahoma.

Curious what city in OK and whether you're aware of great things OK is doing for CNG (compressed natural gas)?

Both the state of OK and ONG (Oklahoma Natural Gas) will PAY YOU to purchase a cng vehicle. State gives an income tax credit, and ONG gives a rebate (free money). See discussion on www.cngchat.com or www.cngnow.com

Best vehicle for OK commuting is Honda Civic GX (natural gas) that typically gets 40 mpg to take advantage of $1.35/gge to $1.59/gge public pricing of CNG all across Oklahoma. See www.cngprices.com for 70 locations of public cng pumps across OK. Ford and Chevy pickup trucks also available as bi-fuel to run on either petrol or cng.

Super low CostPerMile in cng Civic works out to 3.4 CENTS per mile for cng (compare to petrol of 9 or 10 cents per mile)!! Driving a pickup truck on cng in OK also is supercheap as it works out to 7 cents a mile, which is same as Toyota Prius!!

Thanks, I am considering doing a restoration with my tool box..an old vintage Snap On with roll down front. A family member owns a sandblast and powdercoat business and can probably do it but I haven't decided on what color. I can go back with the red, but the inspiration for my next garage is the Michael Andretti garage...lots of browns.

Welcome to GJ, make sure you plan your next garage to be "BIG".

Oh it will! The floor plan we are looking at now has a 2 car that opens into the house plus two singles that do not. Think a drive through portico with two single cars on each side. One of the singles is big enough to be a nice man cave complete with TV, couch and working room.
