I just bought it used, he said he'd had it for over 30 yrs.

It's 1/4 dr, 20-150 inch pounds.

The worn label on the case says "CDI CONSOLIDATED DEVICES, INC. SAN GABRIEL, CALIFORNIA"

The adjustment is mic style. It slides out to set and slides back in when set.

Is this the same CDI that is the OEM for a lot of torque wrenches?

Cdi is most likely the same one that makes Snap On's torque wrenches.

30 to 150 (or is the 50 showing the lowest it goes?) Inch pounds. Would be 1/4 drive I guess, cannot tell for sure from the pics.

No ratchet, but with 12 point sockets, many times you simply don't need one. I don't know if they make inline ratchets in 1/4 drive or not, might be handy to have for it.

CDI is now owned by Snap On. Web site says the company was founded in 1968, but doesn't say when SO acquired them.

I was wondering if it was the same CDI. CDI site says they are located in "City of Industry, CA," This says "San Gabriel, CA." I suppose they are close.

The scale is marked down to 10, so you can go to 0 with the numbers on the ring. I start to feel feedback at about 3 inch lbs. I think the box says it's for 5-150, but probably not optimal for less than 10 or so.

Yes, 1/4 is the drive. I don't mind not having the ratcheting head; it's not a ratchet
