Does anybody here have some old catalog scans for Hollands vises? I going to have a friend go look at one but wanted to get an idea of what i'm having him look at.

He said it was either a no. 80 or 30, at first glance, but it was large. I don't know if its 8" jaws or 3" jaws but if anybody can provide the scans with different model numbers, that would be great. Thanks,

Usually on eBay you can find old catalog pages if you search for like: Hollands Vise. The images are typically pretty decent resolution. I save them to my HD as often as I can to start a collection.

This is the only one I have on this computer. Most of the images I have saved on my other one at work.

I did a search on ebay but came up with nothing. Thanks for the scan. I'm hoping its a No.80!

I won a hollands 515 and since the seller didn't mention the width of the jaws I certainly wasn't going to ask and shipping was cheap. I got a 3 1/2" Hollands that is maybe worth 1/3 of what I paid. I had a 15 with 5" jaws. I wish you luck Mr. Big

Hollands were similar to Reed and Rock Islands vises. A 3-inch vise is medium sized. An 8-inch vise is a MONSTER, weighing well over 200 lb. (Only a few guys on this forum have 8-inch jawed non-Chinese bench vises). A 3-incher is worth upwards of $100, give or take, depending on condition. An 8-incher could be worth BIG BUCKS, due to its size, strength, rarity, and snob value.
