New Bosch clone. Several of the woodworking forums have wondered wether these will also quickly be relabeled as 12v now that Bosch has given in to that marketing BS (due to loss of sales, to gullible people).

They're new... just out this month
This one has two speeds... not sure if that's a useful feature
The ridgid one is nice because it has an actual chuck... but it's bulky

I think it's cool that the Makita one has both the drill and the driver in a single set in a hard case.

I wonder if Milwaukee is planning on making a driver to go with their small cordless drill.

...and it's a Ridgid. Given people's problems with batteries and warranty claims that was enough for me to steer clear. Lifetime Warranty - Yeah Right!

If it will be available in the next few months, you'll start hearing about it now. The International Woodworking Show starts on the 20th in Atlanta and usually has new product intros in time for the holiday season.
