I´ve been reading your great journal for a while now, and especially the "tools from the old world" thread has been a joy to follow. Some of you guys shows extraordinary knowledge, and I also like the quite friendly tone here. I´m a member of some UK-based and danish Land Rover boards, (I drive an old Range Rover V8), but the tone can be quite harsch there.
Took some pictures of my garage and tools yesterday, and posted them on the "from the old world" thread, so now i´m awaiting the OK from the moderators. Hope i can contribute to this, i have some knowledge on european tools and english cars (silly, but I love them).

Hi Hotfr8,
sorry if it´s off topic here, but do you think the post i made to the tool thread is lost, or is it normal with more than two days delay for approval from the moderators? Ok, with timezone differences, then maybe 1½ days...

:) Oh yes, these awfull timezones...
Could anybody tell me how many posts you must have approved by the moderators, before it´s real-time posting? I´ve just made another posting, and it takes time to do your photoshopping, write a not-to-stupid text and get it all uploaded, so it´s a little sad when your post is sort of outdatet when it appears on the board...many pages back in the thread.

Welcome to the GJ. What part of Denmark are you from, if you don't mind my asking? I've spent a fair amount of time there, mostly stay on Fyn when I'm visiting though.

Hi Gatewaysysop,
I live in Rødovre, just outside Copenhagen. Maybe you have heard of "Damhuskroen" - The Damhus Inn? Dancing, dining and often a place where people end, after being ´round the bars at night. Its just beside my house.
I love Fyn, it´s the Fruit Garden of Denmark.

Hotfr8: Thank you, i have send him a pm. It looks to me like "old" members can reply "on the fly" to the posts. Makes things more simple.

Hi again,
at 10-28-2012 11:24 PM i made a new post on the "tools from the old world" and it hasn´t appeared yet. I understand your worries about spamming the board, but it is somehow disappointing that your posts shows up with such a delay, that no one will watch them (they appear several pages back in the discussion)...

Thanks Regguy1,
since it appears to be the images, who triggers the spamproblems, i will post a "clean" text message, when my post becomes visible.
I have searched this forum for answers, and it looks like that you will "pass the test" after some ten messages or so.
So here´s my #9 :)
