I too have a soft spot for the older Cman iron. Its just so lil and cute that even though Im used to real machines, its just plain fun to restore and use. Unfortunately its not worth $$$ even restored, tho some will gladly pay and argue this point.

These two followed me home last week. I already had a slightly larger version of the table saw but wanted a few parts off of it (namely the blade guard base), its freshly restored (not by me), and came with a dado set and a ton of accessories for $15. The only downside was the silly 2x4 base took up a ton of room in my truck. The jointer was on an equally bad 2x4 stand and needs a good resto (in progress), but was complete for $5. The third pic is my favorite part of these old Cman tools. The handle is off the jointer, and you can see the top half is a mirror finish after 5 mins with a buffer and a bit of rouge. The bottom half is how it started - brown and dull.

I have the same lathe, its a great machine. Also has an indexing head, which probably hard to get in a wood lathe. I need to check the O-town cl.
