I just checked out your links and I appreciate you sharing your thoughts and review of each product. Any opinion you can share is appreciated since you experience with several of them.
It really is a tough call as I like all four product lines.
TSKAKs might be too small for polishers, it's hard to say because I haven't seen their basic tool box size in person.
Between L-Boxx and Systainers, you can probably find pick & pluck foam for both. Sortainers are easier and quicker to stack and lock. Smaller L-Boxxes have handles on the top and front, larger L-Boxxes have handles on the top and sides.
Neither L-Boxxes or Sortainers are meant for heavy duty jobsite conditions. They're more suitable for renovation and indoor work, if that makes sense.
Dewalt ToughSystem cases are much more spacious, but might be out of place when used with detail tools.
For best appearances, I would go with the Systainers. For best bang for the buck, L-Boxxes.
You can buy an aftermarket folding cart to aid in moving heavier stacks around.
If there's anything I can show you photo-wise, let me know.
I have Sortainer samples but spent pocket money on 6 Systainers. I have L-Boxx samples and spent pocket money on maybe 7 boxes. Same with Dewalt's ToughSystem - I bougth about 4 units and received 4 samples. I received 2 TSKAKs and might buy 10 of the basic ones, maybe other styles as well once they're released.
What you might want to do is order one Systainer and one L-Boxx to see which you like more. Return the one you don't like and fully invest in one system.
Last year there was a $20 off $100 sale on Amazon in late Nov and through December. That's when I bought quite a few of my L-Boxxes. Some of the orders were cancelled in Jan due to fulfillment issues, but Bosch is currently gearing up for a big launch at the moment.
Depending on how many boxes you plan to purchase, the sale could save you considerable coin and might be enough of an incentive to go with Bosch over Festool. IF a similar sale is repeated in the next few weeks.
