Pretty happy with the results so far... wife and I ust finished tonight. Need to finish the rest of the garage, but the floor is finally done. Still debating a clearcoat rightnow...

The photo's of your floor looks simply terrific. Though I would wager they look far better first hand. From my personal experience with Sherwin William's Armorseal 1000 HS, I know that you'll be even more pleased with the way they will look for years to come!

How many square feet did you do and how much priduct did you use? Did you thin/reduce?

Thanks for the compliments.. I used 3 kits and it covered about 550 sq ft nicely. Had a bit left over.. but not a lot.

How did you finally prep the foor? I know you debated grinding or etching. Which did you go with ?

I went with etching.. The concrete had no stains as I could see and was in great condition.. I washed the floor and scrubbed out hair and other ****, then powerwashed it, then etched with muriatic acid with what ended up as a 4 to 1 ratio, then powerwshed the acid out, then used a TSP substitute (only thing available in CA apparently), then pressurewashed again, then let dry for about 4 days.

The etching actually made quite a difference.. was night and day to the un etched concrete.

I suspect this stuff will last longer than most of us.
Is yours sufficiently anti-skid?

Yes it's pretty antiskid.. I actually tested it tonight.. granted I could still fall on my **** if I tried, but I won't be doing relay races in the garage anytime soon.
