Is Snap-on secretly making their wrenches thicker?

I've got a brand new 17mm combination wrench (about 3 months old) and it feels noticeably thicker along the beam than my other older 17mm combos. I don't have a veneer caliper; otherwise I'd measure it.

That's the only complaints some guys have said about Snap-on combination wrenches are their knife-edge-like beams.

I've never found their wrenches to be too thin, i do however prefer the older ones with the old style logo for some reason. Don't know why.

You need to spend some of your ebay time and look for some measuring tools!! Those Harbor Freight calipers are cheap and work well enough for measuring wrenches ;)

I knew it!!! That's what I suspected when Moose corrected me. My spell check won't tell me what version of the word to use; it only tells me if the word is misspelt.

I blame it all on Moose! Him and those Brits invented this weird language anyway. :D

Computer spellcheckers come in 'Murrican.
Summat to do with some bloke in Seattle, apparently.

I have colleagues who refuse to use it: "It's all American spellings."

You need to go back to 70's tv or You Tube. The Brits had AngloSaxon, until they lost to the French at the battle of Hastings.

Being a bad speller or a good speller that knows the common misspellings, has its advantages. It makes it easier to find stuff on Ebay that may otherwise fall through the cracks...................
Vice and Vise
Flair and Flare

Sometimes people will look down on someone because their post is misspelled. I don't care about spelling words wrong, just need a general idea of what's being said. Let's talk Garage,Tools, and equipment, let's leave the spelling to the English teachers!!

Moose' final shot..

Leave English to the English, y'all.. ;)

Y'all...............................

Well y'all know what the difference is between a northern girl and a southern girl??

A Northern says "you" can

and a Southern girl says "y'all" can

No offence intended for our southern friends. It's just a joke.

Go into a bookstore, and ask them for an English to English dictionary. They either give you a regular dictionary, or they give you the look.:wtf:

I found one, figuring it would be English to Queen's English, but NO, it was listed as American to British dictionary. One day when I have enough pounds (euros now), I will have to go back and either take a torch and read it, or purchase it.
