I've wanted these pliers for a long time, finally bit. And a long cold chisel for half price! Both purchased at northern tool and both lifetime warrantee and made in USA.

Mac man dropped these off for us today, underhood work light. Me and two other guys bought these and also came with a free led light aswell. This thing is bright, I work in a shop with 30 foot ceilings so it seems dark even though we have alot of lights hanging up.

After hearing about craftsman moving manufacturing of their basic line overseas, I decided to take my chinese flat wrenches in to exchange them for the U.S made versions. The clerk asked what was wrong with them and I told her nothing except they weren't made in 'MERICA. She thought I was joking until I stopped laughing with her. Granted there was absolutely nothing wrong with the china made ones.

I also came across a crescent 8" wrench in the package for $1

Lexus 12/14mm wrench
Craftsman snips
A really old and worn out pair of mini-pliers that should serve me well on the few occasions I would need them.
Stanley USA 1/2" drive extension
Easco 3/8" Breaker bar

Payed $10, I prob could have paid five.

Have the same set up but with the flat red crinkle finish[which I think looks better] been using it for a few years now no problems.

Side note wish they still had the flat red stuff because now I cant buy a top box or locker to match.

The HF on Lebanon rd in Nashville near briley Pkwy had 3 of them that they didn't know they have. You have to get them to actually put hands on it so they see then difference in the new style and old.I played hell trying to find that till I made the guy go back and physically look.He was like holy **** I was right.

Good to hear its super bright, I've been on the fence about getting that set too. How's the free LED Dualite? Is that bright/good at all?

Thanks

Bitter sweet evening went to announce to my grandmother that my wife and I are expecting our first child but I also wanted to clean out my grandfathers workshop before the vultures (family) beat me too it as they did with my great grandfather's. Here's what I took, lots of good US made tools, a nice Dewalt drill and Craftsman sockets. Look forward to putting this stuff to good use (there is a Scout II project in my future I want to surprise my father with).

Picked up 18 of the old Nicholson Black Diamond Made in USA files. Used well, but still have some good use in them.

What brand wrenches are those? I see TRW, but does not ring a bell. Look very similar to Craftsman RP.

I was passing through KC on Monday morning, so I stopped in to check out Harry Epstein's.

Picked up a $50 CDI torque wrench, Channellock welder's pliers for $17.60, and a Milton tire inflator for $33.95.

This came in the mail today. It's a Wagner safe-t-planer. Turns your drill press into a thickness planer. It will be used on the $85 craftsman 15" drill press I got off Craigslist on Sunday.

Nice! I love Gedore's socket design with the deep knurling. They seem to be one of the few that puts it in a spot where you can actually grip it to help spin the socket with your fingertips.
