I'm trying to find a stand that holds a 5 inch grinder at ground level and allows you to grind while standing...

If anyone else knows the name I'd appreciate the info...

Thanks in advance

Yep..... there a a couple others out there that have made their own. I sell these and to be quite frank, they are really good for edge work but there is a bunch out there that can do the same thing for less money. What this company is well known for are their vacuum systems. Pulse Vacs are really good for a non plugging vac system.... the are really proud of those too. As with anything, you pay for the better systems.

For someone that is doing this "just" for their own applicaion and not in the biz.... it's really overkill. If you want this, I'd buy it back for 75% of the cost.... if you purchase it through me. I'll give you the contractor discount.... something to think about.

DCS, Do you have any feedback from users?...

I'm looking at one of these for a very specific job, thinset removal. I have and Edco 10" grinder and my 5" Bosch is quicker and more effective on the thinset. So instead of grinding 800-1000 sqft every couple weeks on my hands and knees I was considering a pair of these. With 7" wheels and two running It would speed my jobs up. I was wondering how they adjust to height changes in floor. Sometimes the thinset is built up 3/8 to 1/2 inch higher than the slab. By the way can you PM me the contractor price?

Thanks

You need a pcd cup wheel. $155.00 plus shipping. 7" cup with (8) 1/4" pcds. This will cut through the thinset quickly. Then grind the concrete with a diamond segment cup wheel.
